Sinking captains suck

It really sucks if the first colony captain of Virginia breaks down with drives crashing and you can't do anything about it and have to install a new system. *argh*

Talking, waiting, crashing

Have been talking to some people today about more or less interesting stuff, mostly more :-) Nothing to post though.

The main server at work today decided to crash. Doh! Hopefully this can be quick-fixed by a reboot tomorrow morning, otherwise I will sit for three hours in trains getting there, fixing the machine and another three hours getting back home. Anne and I want to go camping to Duincamping de Lakens and we want to leave on Wednesday... Damnit.

Still waiting for my new mobile. Will have pretty nice features like MIDP 2.0 and the Bluetooth API. Editor is just waiting for some code :-)

More stupid people

There are so many stupid people out there. I visited my grand mother today. I took the highway as it is a lot faster. More traffic than usual because of the holiday. So some dumb ass drivers really think that it is needed to get to the destination 5 minutes earlier by some risky maneuvers... *argh*

Running

After all I must say this day has been a good one. I did some work and found a pretty stupid bug in my discretised field representation (the unsigned - signed thing, you know...).

In the evening I met Andreas, his girl-friend and Lutz and we went running. Personally this was my first Lousberg-Run ever (Lousberg is some kind of hill nearby, see Lousberglaufor my intranet webcam. Especially look out for the tower on the very right of the picture, at least over the day. I crossed that one :-). Went pretty good, but my right foot hurts, have to keep an eye on this one...

Need pushing

Had a really nice weekend. A bit too nice, I guess. So much work to do, so little work done :-/

I got a new MP3 player (thanx Walter) which fits my equipment perfectly (which means that it uses SD cards and I can use the ones I already got for palm and digicam and that it registers as USB mass storage and works just fine under Linux...). So to get up and running (I want to get running, the player is working already ;-) I need some fitting music. If you have any suggestions for such music (that supports my running efforts) please feel free to drop me a note.
