What is WAP?
WAP is used to view web pages on mobile devices. It has been designed
to fit the needs of such devices like small displays, slow connections
and difficult input methods.
What you find here
Below you will find information on how to use the WAP interface. It is
pretty straight forward and you should be able to use it without a manual.
But just to be sure I have put some info on the page...
What do you need?
To use the WAP pages you need a WAP-enabled device. Most of the recent
cell phones do support WAP. For most PDAs there is at least one WAP client
available (Palm users for example can use Blazer sold by Handspring or
the WAP browser of AU-Systems).
Short manual
Go to the WAP screen of your device (read the device's manual on how
to do that) and surf to "http://niemueller.de/wap/mensa/". You will then
see a list of Mensas that you can choose from. Following one
of the link will lead you to today's menu. You can choose other days
or return to the list by using the links at the bottom of the page.
Alternatives
For PalmOS there is
UniMensa
and for Java-enabled cell phones you may want to try
jMensa.
