Can you help me developing my firewall?

My day has 24 hours. As every human being I waste about 1/3 of the day with sleeping. So I have 16 hours left as all mathematics know. So I am eating about 1 hour all over the day. I allow myself to watch Star Trek whenever it is possible... OK, to make a long story short: Please read first all available documentation and I think I made it already pretty easy with my Webmin Module for IPchains. So, if you have small specific questions, OK, mail me, but please don't send me your 500 line script with the question "Ping does not go through, can you help me?". Thanks.

When I execute the firewall script it complains about missing ipcalc?

My System is RedHat, so I used ipcalc since it was installed on all boxes... My fault. A future version will fix this problem. For now do the following:
Grab the source for RedHat initscripts-RPM. You can get it at RPMfind.net. Or you can download the file directly here. It is from an older version of initscripts. Compile it with:

gcc -Wall -D_GNU_SOURCE -c -o ipcalc.o ipcalc.c

gcc -o ipcalc ipcalc.o /usr/lib/libpopt.a

Now you have a ipcalc executable. Copy it to /bin and the script works fine.
