My Opinion
This book describes how to write network applications for Palm handhelds. It gives a really good introduction on the basics of network programming and to the Palm OS API. It introduces new features chapter by chapter and at the end you can write state-based applications to exchange data.
I used this book to develop Onager a while ago. There is a lot of demo code in the book that helped me to get into network programming.
