Too much

There's a too long time I didn't blog so that too many things happened to write them all down in one go.

I did quiet some work for my university job. It's far from being done but we are getting further with the new robot vision software.

I have touched some parts of the UniMatrix code again. I hope to finish the few changes in the near future to release a new version which will then finally be OpenSource (yes, it should have been earlier!).

I have been in hospital from Sunday to Wednesday. More on that later. Quiet a "funny" story to my disfavor.

If your log file grows to that size on a too old system you are doomed. Doh! Found out that the webserver only can handle files up to 2 GB in size so I lost more than a month of logs. Damnit.

As usual

So finally I'm back from India. We had a lot of fun and I really enjoyed it, altough it was pretty tough sometimes. The trip was quiet impressive (meaning a range from negative to positive impressions). If I find some time I'll put some notes about the trip on the page with some pictures.

Now I'm back to business as usual. Trying to better organize daily life. Let's see if this works out.

Trek

We have trekked the Himalaya from Yuksom via Tsokha to Dzongri. So in four days we walked about 50km and more than 5000 altitude meters.

Now we are slowly traveling home. India is interesting. More to come.

Darjeeling

We arrived in Darjeeling the day before yesterday. It's a welcome break after the more hectic and smelly days in Agra and Varanasi. We skipped Calcutta after we saw the bad situation in Agra already...

Tomorrow we are going to leave to Gangtok in Sikkim. We plan a short trek for a couple of days. This has yet to be organized though :-)

More to come.
