Please feed the Hackers
Finally after one night of hacking over at the Buck we managed to get all feeds online :-) Since almost everybody is using an own CMS we needed to rewrite it several times... Buck could adopt my feed, while Medha needed to hack a new one for their ToMeCMS, while getting crazy because it seems that you can't get to validate RSS 1.0 as valid XML and a valid feed at the same time *argh*. RSS 0.91 which we have chosen now does work. to see the results have a look at the Friends' RSS page!

AllemaniACs friendly match
On saturday we (AllemaniACs) went to CFT Eindhoven to play some robotic football. This was my very first trip with the team to such an event and it was pretty exciting and a lot of fun. After some short test matches that were needed to gather test data we had two more or less real matches. We lost the first by 6-0 and the second by 3-0.

Friends Blogs reloaded
After discussing this for a while now I finally found some minutes to implement a RSS display page (using Magpie RSS parser. Yes, I am lazy :-)
As soon as Tob and Buck manage to get their RSS feeds online there will be some more content on the Friends' Blogs page :-)

Lehmanns roxorz
I tried to buy the new Datenschleuder today. But they were already sold out. But thanks to the team of Lehmanns I will get it now send to me via snail mail without any extra cost! That is service (yes, we are still pretty surprised if we experience good service in Germany *argh*).

Fedora Core 1
I installed Fedora Core 1 (fresh) on my notebook. It works pretty good. There is no menu panel any more so no round corners. That was a little details I really appreciated. Now it's gone. An aptish dist-upgrade on my workstation from RedHat 9 (upgraded from 8.0 + Ximian Gnome) worked just fine. I really like the graphical bootup, but the kernel messages could be made nicer though...
I still do not have a name for the new Java programm for the mensa menu...
